function are on display at CEATEC Japan 2007. The function performs communications
via the human body. Dr. Hideyuki Nebiya, a President of AMPLET wriote comment

He told that the scene of the movie "E.T." that E.T. talks with Eliot in contact with a finger and a finger. This communication is enabled in reality. We AMPLET were interested in this human body communication as one of the new ubiquitous short range wireless comunications. Dr. Nebiya planed to make a on body communication prototype, and looked for an E.T. doll at the department store, but he could not find it because the movie E.T. was on screen about 25 years ago. He had been looking for it, and found it at a recycle shop in Nagano Pref. He incorporated a prototype of on body communication in it and reproduced conversation of Eliot boy and E.T. |
